Meet the Doctor

Dr. Santoro grew up in New Jersey and completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Yale University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He returned to Yale to do an extra year of training in Adolescent Medicine and has remained in Connecticut since.

Dr. Santoro has been in private practice since 1989 and opened up his solo practice in Pediatrics in January 1991. He is board certified in Pediatrics and has been named a Top Doctor by Connecticut Magazine in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2023. In addition to his primary care practice, Dr. Santoro serves as the Chairman of Pediatrics at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London. He lives with his wife and has two grown children and a grandchild.
